Today’s culture is more disconnected from God than ever before

Today’s culture is more disconnected from God than ever before, and the consequences are
deeply visible. We’re witnessing a troubling rise in destructive behaviours like substance
abuse, violence, personality disorders, and suicide. Alongside these challenges, there’s a
sharp increase in the diagnosis of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression,
bipolar disorder, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders, among others. This growing crisis
reflects a deeper spiritual void that cannot be ignored.
Let’s overcome:
In such an environment, I do believe that the Lord chooses to work through people to bring
about change and encourage hurt people to grow closer to God.
Doubt – The devil’s first deception was to cast suspicion on God’s goodness. Doubting your
identity in Christ and the joy found in Him is the very language of the devil.
Distraction – Life was meant to be lived with passion, but only one passion leads to the Way,
the Truth, and the Life. Where your attention goes, your worship follows.
Temptation – Self-worship betrays God, wounds others, and ultimately destroys your own
soul.
Condemnation – Shame says, “Hide from God.” But conviction whispers, “Return to Him.”
One isolates; the other restores.
Isolation –The enemy strikes hardest when you stand alone. True strength is found in love:
the mighty walk in both deep relationships and holy solitude.
Division – Relationship is the currency of God’s Kingdom.
Hurt – Emotional, spiritual, and physical wounds plant weeds in the soul’s tender ground.
Without healing, pain becomes the enemy’s playground.
Fear – The enemy roars, “I am powerful. Don’t resist.” But he lies. The Prince of Peace is truly
victorious. Fear God; and you will fear nothing else.
Negativity – Your eye is the lamp of your body. See through a cynical lens, and you will only
notice what confirms your bitterness. In time, you’ll rot with it. But if your vision is pure,
your whole being will be filled with light.
